The Kanata-Carleton Provincial Constituency Association of the Green Party of Ontario is excited to announce that Steven Warren is our nominated candidate for the upcoming by-election.

KANATA, June 2, 2023 – Ontario Greens are proud to announce that Steven Warren has been nominated as the candidate for Kanata-Carleton in the upcoming provincial by-election.

Steven is committed to fighting for affordable and sustainable housing, protecting Ottawa’s Greenbelt, and tackling the climate crisis.

“I’m deeply concerned about the direction the current government is taking Ontario in,” Steven said. “Kanata-Carleton needs someone committed to standing up for their community and building a prosperous, equitable Ontario."

“Steven exemplifies the power and drive of youth in his community,” Ontario Greens Leader Mike Schreiner said. “He has a strong vision for how to make his community and Ontario a greener and more caring place to live. I’m excited to work with him so we can put those ideas into action at Queen’s Park.”

Steven is currently pursuing a degree in political science at the University of Ottawa. He understands the challenges faced by disabled and neurodivergent Ontarians, and seeks to ensure they receive fair representation in Queen’s Park.
