The Kanata--Carleton Green Party is seeking Nomination Contestants to choose our candidate for the upcoming federal election. To qualify, you must:

have been a member in good standing with the GPC for six months;
complete the appropriate forms and provide a candidate biography and photo; and
be eligible for election to the House of Commons.

We plan to hold our nomination meeting in the spring to give our chosen candidate plenty of time to campaign before the election, which is expected in October. Regardless of whether you’d like to run or not, we’d love to have you join our volunteer team. Running for office isn't for everyone, but we need help with canvassing, event organising, social media, fundraising, and more. Whether you can contribute a little or a lot, your time and talent are key to raising a Green wave across Kanata--Carleton and Canada. In particular, we're seeking volunteers with an interest or background in accounting or media. Please contact us if you'd like to volunteer.
