That said, you can still learn about the broad types of voting systems and the pros and cons of each. Try these primers from The Current or Samara. If that whets your appetite, you can learn more from organizations dedicated to reforming Canada’s voting system such as Fair Vote Canada and LeadNow's VoteBetter campaign.

Whether or not there’s a referendum on voting systems, our MP Karen McCrimmon wants to hear what you think.  Do send her an email saying how important proportional representation is to you.  A public groundswell carries weight on the Hill.
