Join local Greens to help make Kanata--Carleton a little cleaner.  

The Cleaning the Capital campaign is a citywide cleanup held every spring and fall. Residents come together as a community and combine efforts to make our city clean and green. Join your fellow Green Party volunteers to clean a small part of the capital on Saturday, September 26 from 2 to 4 pm. The rain date is October 3. You can get there by OCTranspo bus route 61. 

Get outside, socialize — at a distance — and do some good.

We'll be collecting litter around Walter Baker Park, which is off Terry Fox Dr in South Kanata. We'll meet north of the parking lot for the Kanata Recreation Complex - just look for the Green shirts & signs - and fan out from there. We'll lend you a Green shirt and supply gloves and bags, but feel free to bring your own too.
